A standout basketball player and the all time leading scorer at Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Troy was named 1989 Bangor Daily News 2nd Team All State.The Clinton native was a four year starter and led the Bulldogs to 2 Eastern Maine Championships. Troy was the varsity coach at Skowhegan HS for 4 seasons, and is now an active member of the Maine Basketball Officials Board 20.
